You have arrived at the website of the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK), which was launched in May 2023. The Stuk.fi website is STUK’s central channel of information, which provides information on matters related to radiation and nuclear safety in Finland. It is possible that you will not find the answer to your individual situation or need for information on this page. In that case, you can contact us through our contact form.

Technical implementation

Our website has been created using the Liferay EE 7.1 publishing system. The user interface is responsive, so it scales according to the user’s terminal device. The aim in planning the website’s appearance and the user interface was to reach the level AA of the WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines.

Site information security

The information security of our website is verified by a third party and its data traffic is SSL-protected, which means that unauthorized persons cannot monitor or change your internet traffic.

Processing of personal data on our website

Our publications are published in the Julkari electronic publication archive, which also produces listings for our website. STUK’s own publications are published in full as PDF files.
