  • Quality management
    • Quality management comprises management, planning and instruction of operations, monitoring and assessment and the improvement of the operations for meeting the objectives.
  • Quality control (Technical quality control)
    • The quality assurance procedures that can be used to demonstrate that the equipment and its performance conform to the set requirements.
  • Quality assurance programme (Quality control programme)
    • A quality control document that describes the different quality control tests, including their purpose, methods, necessary appliances and equipment, party conducting the test, action limits concerning the acceptability of the results and the procedure if the limits are exceeded.
  • Quality assurance
    • All planned, systematic measures taken in order to ensure that all methods, appliances and their use fulfil the specified quality requirements.
