Information on the website
Stuk.fi is the online service of the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority, Finland (STUK), which is administered by STUK’s Public Affairs unit.
The service is provided in Finnish and Swedish. Some of the content is also available in English.
STUK’s press releases and webnews can be read as an RSS feed. STUK’s newsletters (in Finnish) are free of charge and can be ordered to an e-mail using online forms. The Radiation News newsletter (Säteilyuutiset, in Finnish) is intended for everyone interested in radiation. ProInfo newsletters (in Finnish) are intended for professionals in radiation practices.
STUK’s publications are published in the Julkari electronic publication archive, from which lists are also obtained for STUK’s online service. STUK’s own publications are published in full as PDF files. The foreword and abstract are also published or some of the publications in html format. STUK’s electronic publications are free of charge.
Most of the attachments in the online service are PDF files. A reader program, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, is needed for opening the files. The program can be downloaded free from the Adobe website.
The search covers the whole website content, pages, attachments and contact information. The search results are presented on the Site, Publications and Persons tabs on the search result page.
