Kaisa Vaaramaa is in charge of the operations of Environmental Surveillance and Measurement laboratory. The laboratory is responsible for national environmental radiation surveillance, environmental radiation monitoring of mines and nuclear power plants and surveillance of natural radiation in terms of mines and industry. The laboratory is responsible for updating the department’s quality system and developing it.
