STUK submits its reports to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the International Reporting System for Opterating Experience (IRS) of the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) of the OECD.

The reports on the operation of nuclear power plants submitted by power companies to STUK consist of daily reports, quarterly reports, annual reports, shutdown reports, radiation safety reports, radiation dose reports, reports on the utilisation of operational experiences, special reports, scram reports, and operational failure reports.
