Radon Prevention and Remediation, RADPARThe general objective of this project is to assist in reducing the significant public health burden of radon related lung cancers in EU Member States (MS). The effectiveness of the various existing radon prevention and remediation technologies in the MS will be assessed with the objective of improving them. Existing radon control strategies in EU Member States will be critically reviewed. Radon risk communication strategies targeted at policy and decision makers, the general public and high risk groups such as people in high-radon areas and smokers will also be developed.
