Factors affecting indoor radon concentrations in Finland

Aim of the study

The study aims at finding the geological and house construction factors affecting indoor radon concentration in Finnish low-rise residential houses.

Implementation

The study utilises a statistical model for indoor radon, geological factors and house construction features. The houses studied will be limited to the Southern Finland because a plenty of measurement data and a good geological data base exist covering that area.

Dissemination and exploitation of results

The work has been published as a Pro gradu thesis and will be also published in scientific journals.
