Traceable measurements of field strength and SAR for the Physical Agents Directive (EMRP-NIR)

Aim of the study

The objective is to improve the traceability of the field-strength and SAR measurements of electromagnetic fields.

Implementation

Equipments are developed for the calibration of SAR probes below 400 MHz and RF current probes in the frequency range from 10 MHz to 50 MHz.

Dissemination and exploitation of the results

The main results are published in scientific journals and conference proceedings. The developed calibration methods are utilised for the calibration of measuring instruments.
