Environmental radiation monitoringSTUK monitors constantly environmental radiation. STUK aims at getting detailed information on the exposure of the Finnish population. The ongoing radiation monitoring enables STUK to react quickly to anomalous radiation situations and to provide information for protection procedures. STUK's radiation survey is based on both the national legislation and EU regulations. The monitoring equipment is very accurate.
