Occupational exposure to low frequency fields

All employees in industry are exposed to some sort of low frequency fields. In a regular office, background fields are not distinguishable from the background fields within the home. However, significant exposure can occur in power stations and for instance in metal industry where high power equipment is used. Generally, exposure is momentary and rarely exceeds occupational exposure limits.
